‘Home in Memory’ was a socially engaged arts Research and Development project developed with residents of Ennis Road Care Facility, Limerick, between February and May 2026. Funded through the Artist in the Community Scheme with mentoring from Caroline Schofield of Waterford Healing Arts, the project explored memory, belonging and participation through weaving, storytelling and collaborative illustration. Two main strands emerged: a series of collaborative woven pieces and a collection of dog stories gathered through conversation and illustrated with residents. The full exposition, including session documentation, creative methods, mentoring reflections and future directions, is available on the Research Catalogue. See link below.
Funded by the Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon through the Artist in the Community Scheme, managed by Create.
