The Brickxclub Limerick (2024-)

Since 2024, I have been the owner and licensee of The Brickx Club for the Limerick area, part of the wider Brickx Club franchise that promotes creativity, collaboration, and learning through brick-building. Through this initiative, I design and deliver hands-on workshops and events for children and families across Limerick, offering accessible and engaging opportunities to explore creativity through play.

Workshops take place in a range of settings including schools, care homes, community venues, holiday camps, and after-school clubs. I also provide Creativity Days to primary and post-primary schools: immersive, arts-focused sessions that use brick-building as a catalyst for teamwork, design thinking, and creative problem-solving.

My involvement with The Brickx Club community grew from an interest in exploring how structured, play-based activities could complement my work in arts facilitation and creative education. The Limerick branch emerged from my experience as a Creative Schools Associate, where I identified a growing demand for brick-building as a tool for creative engagement. The initiative has since expanded to include community partnerships with organisations such as The Crescent Shopping Centre and Johnson & Johnson, delivering family fun days and large-scale public events that celebrate creative participation for all ages.

While The Brickx Club operates as a business, it also forms part of my broader arts facilitation and arts + health practice, demonstrating how play, creativity, and collaboration can nurture wellbeing and connection across diverse groups.
